Celebrating the Women Who Lead WorkSpa: Empowering Diversity, Holistic Wellbeing, and Representation

As the founder of WorkSpa, a wellbeing business dedicated to providing holistic solutions, I often reflect on my incredible journey.

As the founder of WorkSpa, a wellbeing business dedicated to providing holistic solutions to corporations, I often reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me here. One of the greatest joys of building this business has been the opportunity to work alongside a group of diverse, talented, and passionate women who inspire me every day. These remarkable women shape our services and embody the values of inclusion, understanding, and empowerment at the heart of what we do.

In this blog, I want to share the stories of the amazing women who lead WorkSpa and explain why having a diverse team of experts is essential for creating a truly inclusive wellbeing environment. Everyone is unique, with different cultural backgrounds, experiences, and personal needs. For wellbeing practices to be effective and meaningful, they must reflect this diversity, ensuring everyone feels seen, understood, and supported.

The Power of a Diverse Team at WorkSpa

At WorkSpa, our mission is to provide holistic well-being solutions that cater to the diverse needs of corporate employees. Our team of women from varied backgrounds with different areas of expertise allows us to offer a wide range of practices, from mental health awareness programmes to breathwork, nutrition, and more. What excites me most about our team is that each of us brings a unique perspective, enabling us to approach wellbeing from a more rounded, inclusive, and compassionate standpoint.

This approach ensures that everyone—regardless of their gender, ethnicity, or background—can relate to the services we offer. Fostering a deeper sense of connection and trust with the people we work with makes it possible to create truly transformative experiences that empower individuals to thrive.

Let me introduce you to the exceptional women who form the core of WorkSpa and explain why I am so deeply grateful to work alongside them.

Nike Siffre: Empowering Change Through Psychotherapy and Holistic Wellness

Nike Siffre is a therapist, trainer, consultant, and psychotherapeutic counsellor deeply committed to holistically empowering individuals. With her background as an assessor and counsellor for the Minster Centre therapy service, Nike uses her expertise to help people increase their awareness and facilitate meaningful change in their lives.

Nike’s work is grounded in the understanding that wellbeing is not just about mental health but also about integrating the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of a person’s being. She is deeply passionate about supporting individuals in their journeys towards emotional freedom, self-awareness, and overall mental health. By embracing this holistic perspective, Nike encourages people to see themselves as whole beings capable of growth, healing, and transformation.

For me, Nike’s approach reflects one of the key pillars of WorkSpa: the belief that true wellbeing cannot be achieved by focusing on just one aspect of a person’s life. Mental, physical, and emotional well-being are all interconnected. Nike’s work exemplifies how empowering people to take a holistic approach to their wellbeing can result in meaningful, lasting change.

Bhavisha Pankhania: Harnessing the Power of Breathwork, Yoga, and Meditation

Bhavisha Pankhania, our yoga, meditation, and breathwork practitioner, brings her passion for breathwork’s healing qualities to WorkSpa. Through her work, She shares the transformative power of conscious breathing with individuals seeking to reduce stress, increase mindfulness, and restore balance.

Bhavisha’s approach to breathwork goes beyond just relaxation; it is a tool for personal empowerment. She understands that our breath is one of the most immediate and accessible ways to calm the mind and regulate our emotional states. Her teachings allow clients to reconnect with themselves and tap into their body’s natural capacity for healing and balance.

What I love most about Bhavisha’s work is her ability to make these ancient practices feel relevant and accessible in today’s busy world. She empowers individuals to use the power of their breath and body to manage stress, find clarity, and reclaim their sense of calm. As someone who has benefited from breathwork, I am grateful to have Bhavisha on the team to share these invaluable tools with our corporate clients.

Dorin Varza: Integrating Gut and Hormone Health with Naturopathy

Dorin Varza is a BANT-registered nutritionist and naturopathic health specialist specialising in gut and hormone health. Her passion for well-being is deeply personal. After overcoming significant health challenges through diet and lifestyle changes, she dedicated herself to helping others do the same. Dorin uses a combination of holistic principles and evidence-based science to guide individuals toward optimal health.

What makes Dorin’s approach unique is her ability to blend nutrition science with a holistic understanding of the body’s interconnected systems. Through her workshops, Dorin empowers individuals to take control of their health by addressing the root causes of imbalances. Her work reminds us that wellbeing is not just about feeling good at the moment but about creating sustainable practices that support long-term health.

Dorin’s expertise is invaluable at WorkSpa. She ensures that we approach health and well-being from an integrated, scientific perspective. She has helped countless individuals improve their gut and hormone health, profoundly impacting their overall well-being and ability to cope with stress.

The Importance of Representation in Wellbeing

One of the most powerful aspects of having such a diverse team is that our collective expertise allows us to serve people from all walks of life. We all bring different cultural insights, life experiences, and worldviews, which means we understand that well-being is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every individual has unique needs, and it’s essential to have experts who can relate to those experiences.

At WorkSpa, we understand that feeling represented is vital for individuals to feel safe and supported in their wellbeing journey. Having a team that reflects the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the people we serve is not just important but essential. When employees see themselves as the facilitators leading their wellbeing sessions, they are more likely to feel heard, understood, and open to our transformative work.

I am incredibly grateful for the team we’ve built at WorkSpa. Each of the women I work with brings an openness, a deep sense of empathy, and a commitment to holistic practices that allow everyone to feel seen and understood. Together, we embody a truly inclusive approach to wellbeing—one that doesn’t just address the needs of the few but of the many.
