How does Mindfulness enable better mental health practices?
Our MindSpa programme aims to give employees a deeper understanding of mindfulness, highlighting ways to incorporate mindfulness into their lives to manage stress effectively, understand emotions and gain a greater sense of self. The sessions explore the essential principles of mindfulness through a combination of guided meditation practices and discussion around the experience of the practice and what the application of mindfulness looks like in everyday life and the workplace.
The MindSpa team consists of mindfulness consultants accredited by MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and teachings from a non-dogmatic style synthesising mindfulness traditions from the East with Western psychology.

How it Works?
Our Mindfulness session can be delivered as a 4 to 8-week course of 45-60 minute sessions and as standalone monthly workshops. At the start and end of the programme, we will survey employees to gather data to help us modify the programme and understand your employee’s needs.
All sessions can be delivered virtually, in the office, and live streamed for those working remotely
4-8 Week Mindfulness Programme
- Understanding – the principles of mindfulness and the benefits.
- Recognising – signs of stress and dealing with them more mindfully.
- Developing greater self-awareness.
- Productivity – using mindfulness to improve relationships and productivity.
- Compassion – learning how to be more compassionate to ourselves and others.
- Boundaries – using mindfulness to help create self-care strategies and balance between work and home life.
- Learning how to use the breath effectively to manage stress.
Our tailored mindfulness workshops are designed specifically for your company and employees’ needs through qualitative data. Each weekly or monthly session will cover a new theme and practice for participants to incorporate into their daily lives. Employees will leave each session with a toolkit of skills to call upon in times of need.

The School of Psychology evaluated the effect of MBCT and MBSR courses on depression, anxiety and perceived stress. Results published in the Journal ‘Mindfulness’ in May 2021 showed that participants who completed these courses reported significantly lower levels of perceived stress, depression and anxiety.
The course comes with a resources pack, providing your employees with eight enriching bite-sized videos that your employees can access to supplement their learning.
